Description
Tetra Culture
Tetra Culture is cultivated at it’s highest density and is very high in fatty amino acids and is used by many aquaculture industries due to it’s high nutritional content. Best Overall phyto for feeding copepods and other filter feeding animals.
Tetraselmis Phytoplankton
Tetraselmis phytoplankton has been used by hobbyists for years. My Reef Diet produces the highest quality, and densities available. With salt levels at 35ppt our cultures won’t have to adjust to your water, and survive longer. Phytoplankton doesn’t feed corals directly. It feeds the copepod population that in turn, causes the pods to breed, and then your corals reap the benefits. There are several animals like clams, bivalves, and non-photosynthetic corals that can consume phytoplankton directly. Tetra Phyto feeds copepods just like any other phytoplankton. However, Tetra Phyto is very high in fatty amino acids and is used by many aquaculture industries due to it’s high nutritional content.
INSTRUCTIONS: Dose 5ml of Nannochloropsis for every 50 gallons daily. Keep refrigerated and shake or invert daily. DO NOT allow the phytoplankton to settle at the bottom.
PLEASE NOTE: If water turns green? Discontinue use until color clears. Reduce dosage and continue. Not all aquariums are the same, and some systems will react differently than others. Please follow recommended instructions.
